The jlarge hall was used for. dancing and $as beautifully decorated, atid I noticed that black and white and pale blue and black, the respective colours of the Colleges formed an important part in the drapery, the compliment pleasing the boys immensely. A number of ladies and gentlemen were also present and seemed to enjoy themselves quite as muoh as the juvenile portion of the guests. King's band was stationed in the gallery and played very well, and the Misses Williams contributed several extras at supper time. Mrs Williams received her guests in the drawingroom and was accompanied by her daughters, and wore a handsome black velvet gown trimmed with Maltese lace. The Misses Williams wore white trimmed with lace. Mrs Johnston Stewart wore slate grey and pink brocade trained 'and Lady Augusta Boylo wore white embroidered with flowers. Mrs Collins was there and also Mrs Acland, Mrs J. G. However we shall not have to wait long now before we see him in person. The Rev. T. Fancourfc and his family arc at present occupying Bishopscourt.
