The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed, and the balance sheet, whioh showed the . The election of officers for the ensuing year was then proceeded with, and the following were elected:— Mr J. G* iKihopu President (re-elected;) Mr J. JEt./StajwwU captain (re-elected); Mr J. H. Howan, vice-captain ; Mr £. P. Cowles, hon. .sea. ; Mr P. Curtis, hon. treasurer ; Messrs Aitken, Derraer and Hinchliffe as commit! w;? Messrs T. Westwood and Etire,. auditors,; The secretary was instructed to convey, to Mr Bridge the Club's regret at his long and serious illness, and hope that he will 1 soon be able to again take an interest ip acqoatics, also thanks for his past servioea as treasurer. ■ ;:\ Votes of thanks to the retiring offioers closed the proceedings. The new committee met immediately after the general meeting, Mr Aitkens 'in /• the chair.
