The James Mitchell Trust Bill was introduced and read a first time, The Premier moved that the House meet on Monday evening, at 7.80, for the consideration of local Bills, This was carried. The amendments made in the Factories Bill were agreed to. The Bill was then read a third time and passed. The Shops and Shop Assistants Bill was further considered in committee. After certain amendments were carried the Bill was reported. The Shipping and Seamen's Bill was considered in committee and reported . The Hawkers and Pedlars Bill was committed and progress reported. The Master and Apprentice Bill was read a second time without debate, and sent to the Labour Bills Committee. The Native Land Court Bill was also read a second time without discussion, and sent to the Native Affairs Committee. The second reading of the Adulteration Prevention Aots Amendment Bill to amend the law relating to the sale of bread was agreed to. The second reading of the Bating Bill was agreed to. The second reading of the Bating on Unimproved Value Bill was adjourned. The Designation of Pistriots Bill and Destitute Persons Bill were read a second time. The Oaths Act Amendment Bill passed through all its stages. . . ..<-■ The House adjourned at 11.45 p.m. till Monday, at 7.80 p.m.
