A Soap Mine.

One of the most curious exhibits at the World's Pair was a box of mottled Castile apSp,. a. natural product of the soil of ftevfldsi. Tfie exhibit was taken from a natural mine. The mine is on the line of the Central Pacific Railroad, and it is the only mine of the sort known. This soap is one of the things about which Nevada people like to talk. One of them said recently, '• We have enough natural soap to wash all the soiled litten of our own State. We could run a national laundry if it became necessary. A man in Nevada has no occasion to go dirty. The soap lathers with ease, and the children within its vicinity play with soap bubbles liistead of dolls:. The soap in this wonderful mine is imbedded there as compactly as blue clay.
