Honore.

MAORI MISSIONARY. "Not in the twinkling of an eye.*" He passed Through Jordan's floods— the sky was overcast, The waves rolled higli — but they ttei'e stilled at last ! The good fight he has fought— the victory won, He now has heard the welcome words — " Well done Enter thy Master's joy— thou faithful one." On earth it was his joy — his constant aim To spread the knowledge of the Saviour's name, And fcarle=sly God's message to proclaim. I'ncomnroini-iinK ever in the strife With all those evils in the world so rife ; Ho for the truth would c'en have given his life. Long did he serve his blessed Master here, Sowing good seed through many a toilsome year, How great the harvest— doth not yet appear. But, doubtless, many he with joy shall greet, When in the many mansions, they shall meet Who here, were led by him to Jesus' feet.
