The new building erected by this firm at the corner of Main aud Hall* .-stteetSi though 1 not Wholly Completed^ was opened for business oli Wednesday morhirig. .... The biiildiriff is b'f wood) rbofed with iron, and is very neatly designed. Mr T. Easton had the contract for its erection, and Mr^ Jenks has the painting, but as onljr the priming coating is on nothing can be judged from that. The building has a frontage to Mainstreet of 90 feet and to Hall-streefc 47 feet and tho outside walls are 17 feet. The shop covers the whole space except that portion in Hallstreet 14 feet by 80 feet, set apart for storage of stock, and is fine and commodious and lofty, the walls being 12 feet high. A handaoins counter runs down one side and the end, terminating at a comfortable small office for the book-keeper, The building is a great improvement to the Main-street and commands a capital business position.
