Sanson Small Bird Clüb.

The annual meeting was held at Sanson on Monday night. . ; The Secretary reported that th« club commenced operations last year y/iih * balance of £12 Bs. The members': subsoriptions wbioh were reduced from 5s per annum to 2s ftd, a moan ted to £3 Is 6d, the County Council subsidy for the year was £10. The amount disbursed was payment for 4644 eggs collected, £3 4s 6d ; Mr .. Bowater's services, 31a ; printing ',_ vertisiDg, £2 8s; amount * for poiroßed ■'' grain, £12 19 a 6d; balance in band, £2 16s 3d. The following resolutions were passed :— That Mr J. A. Bayley be chairman-xif-^ the committee. . W '„ ■ That a hearty vote of thanks be accorded to Mr B. G. Edwards for his services as secretary. That Messrs J. A. Bailey, T. Maslis, R. and J. Perrett, J. Gray, J. Matthews, Bs .<• G. Edwards, A. Allerra, T. Harris be elected a committee for ensuing year. i That the members fee for the ensuing year be 2s 6d. That Mr Bowater procure pojsoned grain as required. ' That 11 G. Edwards be elected secretary, and Mr W. J. Phillips treasurer. That Mr R. Bowater be allowed * bonus of £2 2s for receiving eggs and unfledged^ birds for the ensuing year. '"^ That children be paid 2d per dozen for collecting birds egg:) and unfledged birds. That the secretary apply at the next meeting of the County Council for a grant of £10 for the ensuing year. A vote of thanks to the chairman brought the meeting to a close.— Advocate.
