We sold at and alter the auction every pen of sheep and most of the cattle at following quotations : — Cattle— Fat bullocks, £7 Is ; fat heifers, £5 Is ; fat cows, £4 to £4 . 358; 2yr steers, £3 ; cows, £3; 18 months heifers, £2 ss ; store cows, 87s 6d. Sheep—Store wethers, 8s 2d to 8s 7d ; lambs, woolly, 4s 9d ; shorn lambs, 8s lOd ; empty ewes, ss.
