The Seventeenth Bengal Native Infantry regiment has broken out in mutiny at Agra. The" military authorities say the rebellion is due ito the inclusion in the tanks of men of different castes. Two companies have been arrested, and will be tried by court-martial. A vast Nihilist conspiracy has been discovered in St. Petersburg. Hundreds of arrests have been effected. News from Central America states that the Government troops have inflicted three sueoessive defeats on the rebels in San Salvador. In the engagements 400 were killed and 1600 wounded, most of them severely. . The Journal des Debats contends that the hoisting of the British flag at Wadelai is the first step to the conquest of the entire Nile Valley.
