The Bailey Bankruptcy.
In connection with this matter (says theiflawera Star) there has come into the hands of the Deputy Official Assignee a letter from the bankrupt to Mr Thomas Robson. This js dated Auckland, April 12th, and- bears Auckland postmark of 18thr ; but, as Bailey was seen in Wellington on the 10th or 11th, it is. regarded as doubtful whether the pte6fa>r was written in Auckland. In ',<*&©; letter he says that he is in a fair <3tfa» over money matters, owing the -mjctaoneers £1674 and other credi- ' tors smaller sums, bringing up the , total to about £1700.
