Coxey, who is considered in Conservative quarters »,iort of American Jack Cade. The movement is certainly a wild and impracticable one. Coxey will demand on behalf of his followers the atgtt,bf 500,000,000 dollars in relief money, and the employment of the idle* by the Government making roads, including a great national highway connecting the Atlantic and pacific coasts. Nearly all the large cities are expected to contribute a .f*o*a of recruits to this army, and & is feared Washington will be •overran with bad characters, also that much hardship and suffering JwHt result.
