Another Use for Rabbits.

• We have just heard of a notablo procedure adopted by a surgeon for the relief of a patient. A man cume for advice concerning his forearm , which had been broken some months previously. Despite the most care ful treatment there had been no union of the bones. The arm was perfectly useless, and the muscles all wasted. The surgeon freshened the fractured ends of the bones and inserted between the ends nine small pieces of the thigh bone of a rabbit killed for the purpose. The case did well. In about four months afterwards perfect union had occurred between the respective bones, and shortly afterwards the man was able to resume his employment as a tram conductor. — Manchester Guardian.
