A big sale, one of the greatest successes in the commercial history of Now Zealand, has been the sale in Auckland, of Messrs W. Me Arthurs & Co's. boys Btock, recently purchased by the well-known and highly respected firm of Messrs Sargood, Son & Ewen. The eagerness and rush with which the stock has been bought is evidence of the genuiness of the sale, the bulk of the stock having been sold on the two first days, many large buyers being present from all parts of New ZealanL The arrangements were so complete that it has been universally conceded by the trade to be the largest and best managed sale of the kind ever known in their experience.
