Wool Market.
The New Zealand Land Associa tion, Limited, received the following London market cable message: — '■ Wool — The sales closed firmly this day. Since the close of last sales washed and scoured merino, super, medium, and inferior, are &d per lb lower, while coarse greasy crossbred has advanced &d per lb. Other desoriptions are unchanged. The total quantity sold during the past gales is 127,000 bales, of which 109, 000 bales have been taken for the """ Continent and 1000 for America. It it estimated that 75.000 bales have been held over for future disposal. Frojen meats — Stocks light. Canterbury and Wellington mutton are worth respectively 5d and 4fd per lb. Lamb market firm. Prime New Zealand jambs are worth, per carcase. 6fd per lb. New Zealand hemp—Market depressed. Medium is worth £16 per ton. Tallow — There is little demand. Fine mutton good beef tallows are worth respect* ively 27s 8d and 25s pei cwt.
