Gorton & Son's Stock Report.
Oar yards both at Sandon and Waituna were filled at onr Bales there thia week with ■took, good entries of both cattle and she-p l. coming forward. The sale dragged at Sandon, bat at and after it we managed to sell nearly everything. At Waituna it was more brisk, more lines being sold under tha hammer, but we bad to turn one or two pens out unsold. The attendance at both ■ales was good. Our quotations are as tollowo :— Sanson. Ctttle— Cows, £3 ; weaners, 22s to 30s ; heifors, £2 18s ; milkers, up to £5 10s Sheep— 2-tooth wethers, Cs 3d to 8s; forward wethers, 9s ; breeding ewes 5s 8d to 6i 3d ; old ewes, 8s 6d to 53 ; lambs, 2b lid t« 48 ; rams, £1 Is to £1 lls 6d. Waituna. Cattle— 3-year Bteers, £4. fls 6d to £4. 10s ; COWS ; £3 to £3 Is ; milkers, £5. . She«p — 2-tooth wetherß, 0s 9d to 7s 9d ; 2. and 4-tooth wethers, 8s 7d; breeding •Tes, 5s 5d to Cs lid ; lambß, Sa 7d ; old aw«i, Bs.
