NOMINATINS for Handicap Hurdles, Sundon Handicap, iLlectiic -handicap, Flying Stakes Handicap, and Tramway Handicap close with the Secretary on SATURDAY, 10th February, 1894, at the Junction Hotel, Sanson, at 9 p.m. 2. WEIGHTS declared on or about THURSDAY, Ist March, 1894. 3. ACCEPTANCES and GENERAL ENTRIES on SATURDAY, 10th March, 1894. Entries for Maiden Ist March, 9 p.m. 4. All eutries to be seakd and addressed to the Seoretary, Sanson, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and, in cases of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. 5. All races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of New Zealand 6. Winners of any race to the value of 25 soys or over after the declaration ol weights to carry a penalty of 71 bs iv the Flying, Sandon, and Electric Handicaps. DEFINITION OF A HACK. A Hack is a horse that has n.ver won au advertised race (Hack aud Hunter* excepted) or is not nominated for any race at date of entry (Hack and Hunters' races excepted).
