Gorton & Son's Stock Report. Bullb, February 16. The special stool: sale at Bulls was well attended, and excepting two small pens of sheep, all were sold at steadier prices. Our ram fair afc Feilding was a decided success, attendance good, and the bidding for several lines spirited. We sold 244 rams. At Waituna, we had exceptionally large entries, and had to send out a number of hurdles, all of which were required in -■> Edition to cattle and sheep pens. The attendance was very good, and we disposed of about 8500 sheep and all the cattle excepting 2 bulls, and we are holding a sale there again next month to meet the requirements of ■the distriofc. On the 13th at Bulls the yards were filled, but the sale dragged, however, we managed to dispose, of a good many sheep, Our quotations are t-~ Bulls. Special sale. Cattle — Bullocks, £5 2s ; milch cows, £4 Is 'to £8 10s ; 2-year heif9rs, £2 15s to £3 llg Od ; 2-year steers, £B Os 6d to £3 148 ; yearlings, £2 8s ; weaners, £1 to £1 JXs. Sheep— 4, 6, and 8-tooth ewes, 6s 6d to 6s 8d ; cull ewes, 2s Id to 4s lOd ; 1 tooth ewes, 8s lOd ; mixed 2 -tooth, 8s ; shorn lambs, 4s lid. Waituna. Cattle — 18 months to 2 year's steers, £8 2s 6d ; 2 year's heifers, £8 2s 6d; mixed yearlings, £1 I2s6d.
