Electricity is on the point of obtaining a remarkable success in Saxony. According to various papers negotiations for carrying out the project to., supply electric power in a single-centre for the entire extent of the kingdom have resulted in ft cbnefcsaioiS to" that effect; It is intended-" to establish this central station *• at " the extensive coal mines' of "Haeriichen, south . of Dr'egden, thence, to transmit electricity . to-168 oities, . towns, and tillages Along the^fiseal high roads, nilwayradd -■ watercourses with the cities of -Meissen, : Feiberg; " Pirna, Schandau, Sebnity and Radeberg onr-the periphery of the vast-circle.
