The Wairarapa Road.
Mr J. G. Wilson has received the following answer to his letter to the Minister of Lands to acknowledge receipt of your letter on sih November last, directing his attention to the fact that a good road is possible between Shannon on the Muuawatu Line and EUetahnua.
Iv reply 1 have to state that there are no funds voted for the exploration or construction of such a road, but the Minister will carefully cousider your application on his return from the South, and also when framing next year's estimates..
