It is reported that the Government propose to limit the debate on the next Address-in-Reply to the speech from the Throne to three days. Since the arrangement for the compromise between the Government and the Unionist party in connection with the Parish Councils Bill, good progress has been made with the measure in the House of Commons.
The Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Teck are considering the possibility of a visit of the Duke and Duchess of York to the colonies in 1895. .
The Premier has received numerous complaints about the danger of unloading cargo at Bio de Janeiro in the midst of the cannonading. He has replied generally deploring the lamentable state of affairs in Brazil, but pointing out that Great Britain has no right to interfrre.
The Sunderland steamer Amazonas, with a crew of' 17, is missing. It is feared she founded during a hurricane in the Bay of Biscay.
