Handicap Hurdle Race, of 50 sovs ; second horse to receive 5 sovs from the stakes ; distance, 1£ miles, over six flights of hurdles 3ffc 6in high. Nomination, 1 sov ; acceptances, 1 sov. To start a 1.10 p.m. 4. Foxton Handicap, of 100 sovs ; second horse to receive 10 sovs from the stakes ; distance, 1£ miles. Nomination, 1 sov ; acceptance, 3 sovs. The winner of any flat handicap of the value of 50 sovs and upwards after declaration of the weights to incur a penalty of 71bs, not accumulative.
