There were a f ew|" sornpetltoys,: though there should have been a great many more, and Miss Emma Howan secured the prize with a petunia in full flower. Three cheers were given for Mr Redmond. The chairman then promised two prizes, the first of five shillings, and the second of two shillings and sixpence for the best plant kept at the school up to the Christmas holidays. This announcement was received with cheers, and we believe a good competition will be the result.
