Dissolution of Parliament.
A Gazette Extraordinary was isßued yesterday, dissolving the existing Parliament, and calling the new General Assembly together on December 14.
By the Electoral Act tbe wan-ant directing the issue of the writs for the new Parliament must issue within seven days of the dissolution, i.e., before next Wednesday, the 15th. On receipt of that warrant the Clerk of the writs has within three days to issue the writs to the Returning Officers, and the write are returnable within 21 days. That makes the latest possible day for the return of the writs the Bth of December. The election day hai not yet we understand been fixfid, but it will probably be abffut the 4th or sth of December.
The rolls, we are informed, are all in print, with the exception of a few supplementary rolls, which are expected to be ready within two or three days. The enrolment all over the Colony is practically finished, as very few claims are now coming in. — N.Z. Times.
