At our stock sale at Feilding on Friday full entries came forward in terms of advertisement, and several very nice pens ot hoggets were yarded. The bidding was spirited and every sheep in the yard was sold at fair prices though lower than sains a mouth ago, cattle also sold well. Oar quotations are : — Cattle.— Fat bullocks, £7 5s co £7 10s ; f.it cows, £ft ; empty cows, £4 lO.s ; Iyr to 18 month steers, £2 10s to £2 12-sG,I ;cow.s in calf, £8 15a to £\ 5s 6rl. Sheep. — Woolly hoggets, various prices from 9* -1:1 t-.) 11s 7(1; shorn hogi?ffts, H.s 7d ; ewes and lambs 9d iU ; woolly empty ewas, 9j 6J. November 1. Full entries of sheep name forward at our Marton sale yesterday, and our yards were well filled, the bidding was brisk and thanks to the attendance of outside buyers and others every sheep was sold afc or after the sale at fair prices. Our quotations are : — Sheep— Shorn 2fch wethers, 8s to 8s ud ; shorn 2th ewes, 8s 6d ; shorn mixed 2ch, 8a 4d ; shorn fat sheep, 9s ; woolly wether hosrgets, 12s ; woolly mixed hoggets, 10s to lls Id ; shorn ewes with lambs, 83 9d ; woolly ewes with lambs, 10s 6d.
