The Students of Truth.
There has been a big split between the Students of Truth and their teacher, Worthington. A scandal has been introduced which is the tallc of the city. A watch has lately been kept upon Worthington, and in consequence of certain facts ascer tamed in this way a meeting of l]ie congregation was held. A meeting of the seceders was subsequently held, and a resolution was passed that, while adhering to the principles of the teaching of the Students of Truth, those present had witdrawn from the services of the Temple, and entered their most emphatic protest against the continuance, after what had taken place, of Worthington as a teacher of the Students. It was also decided that those present should form themselves into an organisation to carry on the work on Sunday evenings. Worthington ha 3 a 19 years' lease of the Temple of Truth buildings, and declares that he will carry on the work, but it is con. sidered that, as the seceders are numerous, his efforts are likely to break down through lack of funds. The developments are the all absoibing topic of conversation in ;the city. — Press Association.
