— — . — » On Thursday aftei'noon the dying depositions of the man James Blake, whose wife is in custody on the charge of having attempted to poison him, are being taken at the Hospital, Accused is present. In answer to the earlier questions, Blake told Mr Martin, R.M., that he had no objection to any communication from him to his medical man being given by that gentleman in evidence. He also stated that he had not used any ointment since he left the Hospital on the 4th of September, nor for a month before that. About a fort night ago, aftertaking some porridge, he noticed a nasty taste in his mouth, besides pains in his head. Then he ceased taking porridge, and for a time the pains went away, but they returned a fortnight ago, acutely, and again with the unpleasant taste. — Post.
