Foxton Cricket Club.
The members of the Cricket Clhib again turned up in good numbers on Tuesday afternoon to play off the second innings of the match Married v. Single, and although there was no very brilliant cricket they had a good game and some practice afterwards. The Married team again proved their superiority to the Singles and many jocular advices were given to the unlucky singles to see if they could not improve their j play by getting married. The ' trophy presented by Mt McGuire for the highest score fell to the bat of Mr Ingram who had run up 3tt in the first innings in very creditable i style. The next highest scorer was Mr McGuire who compiled his 21 in dashing form, and the second trophy fell to his lot. We give the scores : — Mabbikp— First Innings. Reunion c. Martin b.
