THE LICENSING BILL.
TO TIIR EDITOR 01' TUB MANAWATU HERALD. Sin, — In the divisions on the recommittal of this Bill I did not observe the name of our representative Mr J. G. Wilson. It appears to me that every member of 'the House of Representatives ought to htvve a distinct opinion on the licensing question, and ought to be prepared to give expression to hia views by his votes on the present Bill. It would interest the elector? of this district to know — (1) How many divisions there have been on this Bill. (2) In how many of these divisions Mr Wilson haa voted. (U) How lie voted. (4) "What reason he had for absenting himself from any of the divisions.—l am, ifcc, A. VoTEn. Foxton, August 31st, 1893.
