Foxton Licensing Committee.

Thursday, 10th August. The adjourned meeting of the above Committee was held at the Courthouse to-day at noon. Present — Messrs Austin, Jenks, Ahem, Startup and Little. The minutes of the previous meet ing were read and confirmed. The Chairman asked what name Mr Gray intended to call the house. Mr Gray replied the " Club Hotel" and at the request of the Chairman put in a written application to that effect;. The Chairman wanted to know how long it would be before the house would be in a fit state. Mr Gray said in about a wejk. The Chairman said the Committee would adjourn to Friday, 18th August. The Clerk wanted to know what day the next quarterly meeting should be held. It was agreed that it should be fixed for Friday Bth September.
