The Queen's Champion.

In June, there died at Scrivelsby Court, near Horncastle, England, Mr Francis Seaman Dymoke, .J.P., the Queen's Champion. He is succeeded by his only son, Mr F. S. Dymoke. The King or Queen's Champion of England is a very honourable and ancient office, and has since 1377 been attached to the Manor of Scrivelsby, held by the Marmion family.
