Gpßidk *& Son's Stock Beport. Good entries of oattle and very full entries of sheep came forward at our Feilding sale on Friday. The attendance was good, bidding spirited and good classes of all kinds of stock sold well. The 4-yr old Bomney ewes bred by Messrs Buchanan and Levitt well merited the great praise bestowed upon them and bought under the hammer 15s Bd. The entries at Hunterville were small but the bidding was spirited resulting in a first-rate little sale. Our quotations are : — Feilding. Cattle. — Fat cows, £5 10s ; spd. heifers, £1 19s to £6 ; milkers, £6 3s ; 2^-year steers, £3 18s ; yearlings mixed, £2 8s ; weaners mixed, £1 ios to £2 os ea. •' Sheep.— 4-year Bomney ewes in lamb, 15s 8d ; 2-tooth ewes in lamb, 14s Id ; breeding ewes, various prices . from 6s 8d to 11s; fat wethers, 18s to 14s 6d ; store wethers, 9s 6d to lls. 9d ; hoggets, various prices from 7s Id to 10s 2d. y '[ Huntervtlije. Oattle.— Store cows, £8 8s ; forward cows, £4 7s 6d ; milkers, £5 ss ; 16-months heifers, £8 8s ; yearlings, £2 15s ; weaners, £1 14s 6d to £2 BsT Sheep.— Hoggets, 6s 3d to 7s 6d ; ewes in lamb passed at 12s 6d, a good line. Our yards on Tuesday at Sanson were well filled with sheep, entries of f- oattle were small, the bidding was spirited for small lines, and nearly all were sold under the hammer, the largeir lines being quitted after the sale. All the sheep were sold excepting one lot of hoggets, and a small pen of old ewes,. Our quotations are :— Cattle.— Milkers, £6 to £7; yrtfceers, £2 10s 6d ; 18-months mixed, £2 7s to £2 10s 6d ; weaners, 345.
