Sydney Larrikins.

Members of a rough ' push ' of larrikins, who have terrorised the vicinity of Miller's Point, Sydney, committed a brutal murder at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning. A young sailor named Pert, who some time back was instrumental in getting two of the push arrested, has been a marked man, and on several occasions his life has been attempted. A number of the gang watched him leave his home, set upon him, and literally kicked him to death. Eight of the assailants, whose names are Macquire, Doohan, Thomas Howell, David Howell. Pearson, Vankampan, Bitch and Dodd have been arrested. Some, if not all of those arrested, are believed to have been concerned in the outrage.
