Tomato Leaves as an Insecticide.
•In the Agricultural Gazette, of February, appeared a note on tomato leaves as an insecticide, so I thought I would try tha effect of it. I got a handful of leaves, and steeped them about eight hours in three quarts of water. I put the water over some young orange trees that were infested with aphis, and in three or four days afterwards, they were entirely free from insects.
