Gorton & Sox's Stock Beport. ' The weather was so severe at oui* San son sale last week that a large portion of the stock was nob brought to the sale ; independent of that we had fair Entries and a good sale. At Bulls on Tuesday entries of sheep were lar^e and a fair amount of cattle, both of good quality, the lamb3 exceptionally so, and up to the present this season topped the market at 10s 4d. Our quotatifcms are— Sanson. \-• - . Cattle— 2s yr steers £4/ 12s 6d to £4 14s; heifers, £3 10s. Sheep — 2 tooth ewes in lamb, 18s 9cl ; fat ewes, 9s 4d ; mixed lambs, 7s 10d ; old ewes, 5s 7d. Bulls. Cattle — 8 year steers, £5 ; 18 months steers £3 ss; 18 months heifers, £3 3s 6d ; mixed yearlings, £2 ss ; heifer in calf, £4 7s ; old cows, £2 ss. Sheep— Fat and forward wethors, 18s 6(1 ; fat wethers, 11s lOd to 12s 9d ; woolly lambs mixed, 103. 4d; ewes in lamb, 9s 3d to 8s 6d ; old ewes, 3s Id to 4s.
