London. Lord Salisbury received an immense, ovatibh 'on his arrival in Belfast. In Germany also the drought is , also ruining the crops. Lord Salisbury received numerous addresses on his Arrival at Belfast. In reply he said his ancestors, in the time of James I, had induced Scotch emigrants to settle in Ulster, and he must keep faith with their descendants and protect the people who objected to Home Rule. Lord Salisbury received a great ovation at a public meeting which he addressed in the Ulster Hall, Belfast.. There was an immense audience? He said Mr Gladstone undertook a grave responsibility if lie attempted: to force his crazy scheme of Home Rule on Ulster. .
