English Strikes.

Pickets po3ted by. the Unionists al Hull seized a number of free labourers, but they were released by the police. The Dundee strike has been settled, a reduction of 2^- per cent having been accepted. During a disturbance at Hull the police used their batons freely, and several unionists, who were attacking freemen, were injured before order was restored. The employers have consented tc reopen parleying with the Hull strikers. Mr C. H. Wilson, M.P., threatens to transfer his vessels tc the Norwegian flag should the mer continue the dispute.
