The weather for the second day was fine and the attendance much larger than the previous day. The sum uf £2962 was put through the totalisator, making a total ot £6092 for the two days. In the HurdUs Gravestocu, the rider of Oddfellow, had three ribs broken and his chest injured, while R. Arnott, rider of Lady Belle, had his collarbone broken. The fall of the horses frightened a horse attached to a buggy in which Miss Skerman and Miss WatMn were standing, with the result that both were thrown out at the back, and Miss Skerman had her collarbone broken and Miss Watkin one of her ribs.
