Found Dead.
Hergeant Slattery receive^, 'information ou Tuesday morning from Mr H. Owen, of Kareve, tliafe & man named Joseph Eades had been found dead on the road between Karero and Jackeytown From the report in the .Sergeant's hands, we learn that Eades and anothqr : inan named Johnson were seen lying, on the road on the. previous . jevening, and they were remove^ to a .place of safety by MrMcEwen and Mr Dagald Mattheson. On the following morning Mr McE wen A\t»nt to see if they were all right and found Eades lying dead Johnson was nowhere to be soen. Both men were Been Jby several persons along the i'oad ou the evening of the 26th instant, and they were intoxicated and riding the same horse.
