Captain Edwin reports that there are now strong evidences of heavy westerly gales, with rain, between midnight on the 22nd and noon of the 24th inst. The Queen of the South arrived in port yesterday morning from Wellington, and left again on the return trip at 10 p.m., ''with a full cargo of hemp and wool. The Murray sailed for Wellington yesterday, at 8.30 a.m.
