At Pi. 8. Ab.ahnm's sale at Await uri there was a large attendance, the bidding being brisk. Two hundred and fifty head of cattle and 4,000 Sheep trere yarded. The following are the prices '. - H yr steers, £1 to £4 I.os ; cows in calf, £4 to M 10s ; cows with calves at foot, £>"> : springing heifers, £4 to £4 15s ; fnt bullocks^ £G JBs to £1 ; fat cows, £» to 4»G ; milkers, .-£4 10s to £G ; weanera. £'2 to £2 0s { yearlings, .4'2 10s to £H. Sheep -A splendid line of 2 tooth Lincolns, 3,000 in number, were sold to Messrs Pascal Bros at 11/2 ; 2 tooth mixed, 10/(1 to 21/-; ewes and lambs, all counted, ;">/- to 7/0 ; fat ewes, 10/0. Two pens of sheep which were passed in during the auction were quitted immediately after.
