A Princely Bequest.

» - By the will of the late Mr Berridge the magnificent sum of over j £162,> 000 was left for public purposes, chiefly con jected with hygiene, arid the trustees have now (says the British Medical Journal) completed the task of allocation ; £50;00b is apportioned for the purpose of tea'chihg cookery and providing s ap. pliances in voluntary elementary schools.
