The tournament matches are now drawing to a close. Since our last notice the following games have been played :— Mr W. Stansell beat Mr Curtis 6 to 2, and Mr McNicol beat Mr H Gower Gto 8. This left Mr McNicol and Mr Stansell as competitors in the final evdtitj which was looked forward to with very considerable interest, as these two players were considered to be very evenly matched.
