Cricket.
The Foxfcon and Sandon Cricket Clubs played a friendly game on Saturday last at Sandon. The Foxton team secured a .special train on the tram line. The weather was very unfavourable. Sandon won the toss, and elected to bat first. After the first wicket fell for Foxton the rain began to fall and continued to the end of the innings, which made it very unpleasant. Previous to playing the Sandon Club entertained their visitors at dinner at the . function Hotel. The following are the scores : —
