Bulls, 14th Nov., 1892.
Messrs Gorton & Son report : — We held a very spirited sale at Bulls on Nov. 12th for cattle of which a good number were yarded, competition was keen and every line excepting one pen were sold, Sheep came forward in good numbers and thosa of good quality aold well, but bidding was dull for old sheep, Our quotations are —
Cattle — Fat cows, £5 to £6; forward cows, £4 1 2s ; 3-yr bullocks, £4 18 ; 18 months mixed, £2 19s to £8 8s ; cows in calf, £8 lls to £4 ; milkers,. £4 16s 6d to £6 2s 6d ; mixed yearlings, 89s 6d to £2 Bs.
Sheep — Woolly dry ewes, lls 6d ; shorn ewes, 8s Id to 8s 6d ; mixed woolly hoggets, lls 2d to 18s 6d ; shorn ewes with lambs 14s 4d ; t.m. ewes with lambs, 9s 6d.
