More Infernal Machines.

On Tuesday in the Avenue of the Opera, Paris, a bomb was discovered outside the office of the Carmaux Mining Company in ParisIt exploded after, being removed to the police station , wrecking the building and mutilating four of the inmates in a frightful manner. Since then two more policemen have died, one of them from the effects i of fright. The bodies of the victims . were 1 torn to- shreds. All the occupants ot the police station were killed. : There is no clue at present to the culprits. The bomb was intended to destroy the directors of the Carmaux Company, and was made so as to explode at a given time. All Paris is in dismay, and the Chamber ,Gf"3Deputiea\ was "greatly excited whelT* theT outrage became known. The Premier was accused of causing it by the weakness he had' displayed in dealing with the Car- : maux strikers. He replied that such outrages indicated a return 'to barbarism. Those who were responsible for exciting the passions of the people were destroying the Bepublic.
