Constipation.

Or costiveness is one, of the most frequent results of liver complaint, and requires prompt and careful attention, for if the fjecal matter becomes impacted in the bowels dangerous effects are to be apprehended. 'I lie justly celebrated Dr Abernethy said tlittl inattention to the action of the stomach nnd bowels was the flause of ninety per cent of our physical ailments, and modern science has proved this assertion correct. Care, however, requires to be observed in the choice of remedies, for there are numerous drastic and violent cathartics sold under various fancy names, but Dr Fletcher's Pills are used with the best advantage iu such cases. These pilla are from the prescription of Dr Bell Fletcher, of Birmingham, Kngland, andd were used by him in his private and General Hospital practice there for many years wilh the greatest success. This, as a matter of course, prove? their reliability, and Mr A. M. Beauchamp, Jlata, Bangitikei, N.Z. says : — " I wish to inform you of the good Fletcher's Pills av« doing here. Everybody uses them, and speaks well of them ; and so do I, for they are the best I ever used in my lifn." They can be obtained from all medicine vendors, or direct from F. M Clements, Newtown, Sydney, for thirteen penny stamps.
