Cricket.
A meeting was held at the Manawatu Hotel -last night to form a cricket club. Mr H. Bradcock was in the chair, and there was a large attendance. It was resolved to form a Glub, and a n 1 timber present agreed to join. Mr W. S. i>tewart was elected captain, Mr Bradcock secretary, and Mr H. Blake treasurer, It was decided to open the season with a scratch match on .Saturday married v. single, and intending members are requested to hand in their names to the secretary.
