Messrs F. E. Jackson & Co. report on their Johnsonville sale : — There was a full muster of fat cattle yarded ; quality and weights varied considerably, but prices remained steady throughout the sale. Prime. bullocks made from £9 10s to £11 10s ; ir(-' ferior to medium, &1 to £8 17a 6d; heifers and cows, £5 5s to 4»7. Sheep were plentiful, principally shorn; the majority of the -entry was first-class quality, and include*! some prime sorts. Shorn wetheftf made 12s 7d, 14s, 14s sd, 15s Jd,;, those in woo! 17s to 18s 9d; sfibrtt ewes, 10s to 18s ; lambs Were, numerous, but those below buteher'ff standard were purchased by the. graziers at 5s to 6s. Pigs' "wrerejijl moderate numbers, : and met witbifli fair sale. - - ' '
