Wool Report.
Under date the 12th Ootober Messrs Dalgety and Co (Limited), London, cable as follows .to iheir Wellington agents. Messrs ; Levin and Co. :— The wool sales closed firm without farther change. Of the net quantity available for sale some 152,000 bales have been sold for Home consumption \ 140,000 bales for the Continent, and 6000 bales for America, leaving 8*5,000 bales tobe oarried forward to the next series. The fifth series will Open 6n the 24 th November, the list of arrivals closing on the 22nd November. The first series of next year wili open on the 24th January, and the list of arrivals will be kept open until thie commencement of " the sales. The second series will open on the Sth April The Ust; of arrivals for this series will "be olosed on the day when 460,000 bal*3'.have been reached. Provided tjhis figare is reached before the commencement of the sales, no wools arriving after the opening date will be admitfocnL
