Mr William Blewifct, of Blewitt and Tyler, solicitors, who is a director of the London and General Bank, Limited, which lately suspended payment, attempted to committ suicide at Epping last week. He inflicted three wounds on his throat, and opened the veins in his wrist. He lies in a critical condition.
